ABJ, Round Rock, TX - Knowledgeable & Innovative Technical Solutions Inc. owner, Randy Shane, passed his president and CEO title to his son and longtime manager, Craig Shane.

The first-generation Shane will stay on as director of strategic programs while succession planning continues. He has worked in the commercial and military tech solutions business for the last 20 years, launching his own business, KITS, in 2003. The company employs about 50 and operates from offices in Round Rock and Fort Hood.

Craig Shane joined the business in 2004, working in key roles including business accounts manager and sales director. He earned his undergraduate degree from Texas Christian University and a master’s of business administration from Regis University.

KITS, which develops software solutions for application development, enterprise integration, information assurance and security training. The company formed strategic partnerships with IBM Corp., Computer Sciences Corp. McLane Advanced Technologies LLC and the U.S. Department of Defense.
